| | | Dear trading participants, An exciting year comes to a close: GET Baltic's results remained stable with a promising tendency to grow. New participants actively registered on the exchange, marking a record-breaking level of activity within our community. The traded volume for this incomplete year has already reached all-time heights of 8.5 terawatt-hours (TWh) in natural gas, reflecting a substantial 33% growth compared to the corresponding period last year. And, last but not least, in May, GET Baltic joined EEX Group, adding a significant milestone to our achievements. At our virtual customer event which we held last week, we shared some interesting insights into the development of the Baltic-Finnish gas markets together with our guest speakers from ICIS, Amber Grid and EEX. In this context, we also presented our plans to migrate the GET Baltic gas markets onto the EEX platform. This integration will strengthen the Baltic-Finnish gas markets and has the potential to significantly increase liquidity. This newsletter kicks off a series of further newsletters that will keep you posted on the progress of the gas market integration into EEX and provide you with useful background information. We hope you enjoy reading. Furthermore, we are planning to conduct several webinars with all necessary details for the respective integration steps. Linkėjimai – Best regards

| Gas market integration into EEX | | We are committed to strengthening the gas markets in the Baltic Sea Region and further integrate them with the European gas markets. GET Baltic’s knowledge of the regional markets and customer base in combination with EEX’s expertise in the development and operation of the European gas markets forms an optimal basis for this. As part of our cooperation, we plan to offer a harmonised European gas trading platform that includes both short-term and long-term products as well as clearing services, in line with best market practices. This will ultimately connect the Baltic-Finnish gas markets with EEX’s liquid gas markets for other European hubs and add new customers to the markets. In the long run, this has the potential to significantly increase liquidity in the Baltic-Finnish markets. The integration of the gas markets will be prepared and implemented throughout 2024. We will keep you posted on all integration steps.
